Why starting today is better than next year
Being found takes time. A new website doesn’t show up straight away. Google has to get to know it, and links and reviews grow over time. Every month without a website is a month in which that hasn’t started yet.

Making a website can be quick. Being found takes longer. That is no secret, and no reason to wait. If anything, it is a reason to start now.
Why does being found take a while?
Google first has to visit a new website and get to know it. According to Google, that visit can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks (Google Search Central, 2026)¹. After that, Google still has to learn what your website is about and who it is useful for.
How well known your business is online also counts. Google mentions, among other things, how many websites link to your business and how many reviews you have (Google Business Profile Help, 2026)². Links, mentions and reviews like these don’t appear in one week. They can grow over time.
What does that building up look like?
- Your website is onlineWith your own information: what you do, where and when.
- Your Google Business Profile is accurateWith the same details as your website.
- Mentions and links can followOn other websites that write about your business.
AI assistants can only use what is online. That can only start from the day your website exists.
Is an older website then found better automatically?
Not according to Google. What Google explains about local findability doesn’t mention the age of a website². Google does mention how many websites link to you and how many reviews you have. Those can grow over time. That is why starting sooner can help.

What we promise
What Google or an AI assistant answers depends on the question. We don’t decide that. What we do: put your details online so that search engines and AI assistants can find and read them. If someone asks a question that fits your business, your business can appear in the answer.
