How do customers find you, on Google and through AI assistants?
Google’s AI answers follow the same rules as normal search. Google says so itself. There is no separate trick. What does help: real, correct facts about your business, on a fast website.

Customers search in two ways. They type something into Google. Or they ask an AI assistant, such as ChatGPT, Gemini or the AI answers at the top of Google. Here you can read what helps, in plain language.
Is there a separate trick for AI?
No. Google says it itself: its AI answers follow the same rules as normal search. The AI looks in the same results as Google Search. So your page simply needs to be able to appear in Google, with a short text underneath.
Specialists call this SEO, GEO and AEO. Google calls all of it simply SEO: making sure your website is easy to find. You don’t need to remember those words.

What helps a small business?
No secret knowledge, just a few ordinary things. Someone searches for “schilder Den Haag” (painter The Hague) or fresh bread in Zwolle? Then this helps:
- Real facts on your own website. What you sell, what it costs, when you are open and where you work.
- The same details as in your Google Business Profile. Name, address, phone and opening hours match everywhere.
- Fast pages on a phone. Many customers search on their phone.
- Answers to questions customers really ask. Such as “Do I need an appointment?” or “Can I pay by card?”.
- Photos of your real shop and your work, as soon as you have them. Your own counter says more than a pretty picture.
The most important part, only you can tell. How your bread is baked, which bikes you repair, roughly what a job costs. That makes your website different from all the others. Google says itself that it values exactly this kind of first-hand knowledge.

What do we deliberately not do?
A lot is promised about AI and search. We don’t do the following. Google says itself that it isn’t needed, or even works against you:
- No special AI files or tricks to steer Google. Google does not use such files.
- No chopping text into small pieces for the AI. Google understands normal, well-structured text.
- No fake mentions or fake reviews. They don’t help. And a customer sees straight through them.
- No dozens of nearly identical pages, one for every village. Google calls that spam. We only make pages for the places where you really work, with what you do there.
What does Prima Zaak do for every website?
This is in every package:
- Fast pages that work well on a phone.
- Clear facts: what you do, where, when and for whom. No vague sales talk.
- A tidy structure with clear headings. So people, Google and AI assistants can read every page well.
- Your details also in a fixed format in the code: name, address, opening hours and services. That helps Google understand the facts. Sometimes Google then shows them in more detail. It does not automatically earn you a place in an AI answer.
With Toonbank and Winkel, we also keep your details up to date afterwards. We keep your Google Business Profile current. And we make pages for the places where you really work, with what you do there. See the prices.
How we check every website before it goes online is explained in What we check before a website goes online.
Can anyone promise that you’ll be at the top?
No. If someone promises that, you are better off not believing them. Google says itself that no company outside Google can look into its systems. So we don’t promise it either.
What we do promise: to put your details online so that search engines and AI assistants can find and read them. What they answer depends on the question.
What we do is the work that counts: a fast website with real, correct facts.
We do the same ourselvesThis website is built the same way. It also has a short summary for AI assistants. Google does not use it; other assistants sometimes do. It contains the same facts as the pages.
No tricks. Real facts about your business, on a fast website.
